Editing and proofreading:

Texts are edited to ensure that the correct terminology is used. Clarity and flow of ideas are also evaluated to improve the quality of your documents. Our editing service is focused on academic papers in the applied sciences, social sciences and humanities. We can also improve your grant applications and funding proposals.

Texts in English and Portuguese are checked to eliminate grammar, syntax or spelling errors. All documents are verified with attention to detail and accuracy.

QUALITY

We do not have fixed rates. We will look at the work you need to have translated or edited and make an assessment. We will quote for the entire document. For translation, our quotes are generally based on a per-word or per-line calculation; for editing, we charge an hourly rate.

We pride ourselves on providing top-quality and word-perfect translations and editing services. We are therefore not the cheapest. However, discounts are offered to NGOs and individuals.

RATES

Decades of our combined experience provide your project with the best and most updated terminology in the field.

High quality is our priority. We provide high quality translation through a detailed quality process to ensure that our work meets your needs.

1- The objectives of our collaboration will be clearly analysed before the translation starts.

2- Your documents will be accurately translated with well-researched terminology.

3- Translations will be carefully proofread.

4- If necessary, translations can be proofread by another translator.

5- To ensure that the translation meets your requirement, the document is submitted for your comments before the final delivery.

We are passionate about what we do. This reflects in the quality of the work we deliver and in excellent customer satisfaction.

We specialise in the areas of international development (agriculture, health and education), natural resource management and mining as well as in the social sciences, the applied sciences and the humanities.

Of course we’ll also translate from clumsy into polished English, and we offer additional professional editing and research services.
